PRIVACY POLICY
At SKVID d.o.o., protecting the security and privacy of your personal data is important to us. We operate in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (GDPR), as well as applicable data protection laws. We hope the policy described below helps you understand what data SKVID may collect, how it uses and stores it, and with whom it may share it.
Personal Data
SKVID will not collect any personal data about you (e.g., your name, address, phone number, or email address) unless you voluntarily choose to provide it to us (e.g., by registering for our application solutions, submitting various inquiries, requests, etc.), give your consent, or unless otherwise permitted by the applicable laws and regulations for the protection of your personal data.
Children’s Personal Data
When information society services are offered directly to a child, the processing of the child’s personal data is lawful if the child is at least 16 years old. If the child is below the age of 16, such processing is lawful only if and to the extent that consent is given or authorized by the holder of parental responsibility over the child.
SKVID makes reasonable efforts to verify, taking into account available technology, that in such cases consent has been given or authorized by the holder of parental responsibility over the child. As a rule, SKVID does not collect children’s personal data, except in cases involving the children of its own employees, and solely for the purpose of exercising employment-related rights.
Lawfulness, Fairness, and Transparency
We will process your personal data only on the basis of a legal obligation, your consent, or another legitimate basis. Data relating to you will be collected, used, made available for review, or otherwise processed in a transparent manner. The retention periods and purposes of processing are publicly disclosed, along with the identity of the controller, information on how you can access your data, and the process for submitting complaints and requests for data updates.
Purpose Limitation
Your personal data will be collected for specific, explicit, and lawful purposes and will not be further processed in a way that is incompatible with those purposes. Data collected for one purpose will not be used for any other purpose or in a manner that is not consistent with the approved purpose. For processing that is not based on a legal ground or a contract, we will request your specific consent.
Data Minimization
The personal data we collect are adequate, relevant, and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes of processing. The controller and the processor will not collect personal data that are not needed for the purpose of processing.
Accuracy and Data Integrity
It is essential that the personal data we collect and store are accurate and up to date, and we will take every reasonable step to ensure that personal data which are inaccurate, having regard to the purposes for which they are processed, are erased or rectified without delay.
Storage Limitation
The retention periods for your personal data are determined by applicable legal regulations or by your consent to the collection and processing of personal data.
Integrity and Confidentiality
To protect your personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, or alteration, as well as unauthorized disclosure or access, SKVID uses appropriate technical and organizational security measures.
